The first Ohio State Volleyball Tournament was held this winter at Wooster, directed by Virginia Hunt. The Scotties entered with a perfect season, swept through five matches on the first day of the tournament, and then lost in the semi-finals. Defeated, but still champions. The Wooster volleyball team is seen wearing black kilts, numbered jerseys, long white socks, white knee pads and white shoes. The administrative heads at the time were Nichols Nan and Maria Sexton.
