The image is of the Wooster Ice Hockey Club Team 1989-99. This was the year, a group of students concerned with having an overabundance of teeth and unbroken bones had formed the Wooster Ice Hockey Club. Christian Hunter, a sophomore, captained the team made up of both men and women who enjoy sacrificing their bodies in pursuit of the puck. The cub plays semi-weekly in Cleveland. This group traditionally drew women who had played before arriving at Wooster, especially from the Northeast. A number of field hockey players had played on the ice hockey team. The three women in the photo above were Andrea Jorjoian, Lealynd Padzerak, and Lisa Roberts. Their clothing included sweaters with a large W and khakis. The administrative head at the time was Brenda Meese.
