This group photo of the Women's Athletic Association had members posing with Dr. Maria Sexton outside the Physical Education Association. Among this group were future W Association Hall of Fame inductees Alpha Alexander, Brenda Meese, and Maria Sexton. Alexander later worked with the National YWCA and the U.S. Olympic Committee. Meese later returned to coach, teach and administer at Wooster after a stint at Oneonta State. Betsy Bruce later coached at Hartwick and Hamilton Colleges and oversaw the Recreation program at Oberlin College. Laurie Priest later became Chair of the Physical Education Department at Mt. Holyoke. The administrative head at the time was Nan Nichols.
