In the image above is of Marty Klippert, Marilou Harris, Jo Bruce, and Harriet Winfield practice in their typical leotards for the Orchesis show. The modern dancers added bright costumes and appropriate music for the final production in the spring. Dirty feet and sore muscles were forgotten as the dancers strive for grace and form. The four women seen above are in leotards pose for the shot. Orchesis, was the modern dance group on campus, was initially sponsored by W.A.A. and was found here in the W.A.A. section. Eventually, over the years, they will become a separate organization outside of W.A.A. The administrative head at the time was Maria Sexton.
