The image above is a senior photo of Mary Jean Buccalo, 1926-27. Buccalo's photo was not among the juniors in the previous year. As a senior, she was a member of the Big Six and served as the Manager for Tennis. She was also selected to the Honorary Varsity in Basketball as a forward. Mary Jean Buccalo was eventually hired at the College of Wooster as part of the Women's Physical Education Department. She was a long time member of the department into the 1970's. Her specialty area was dance. Mary Jean Buccalo was wearing a blouse in her senior photo. The administrative head at the time was Kathleen Lowrie.
