The image above is of the senior class basketball team of the academic year 1922-1923. This team won the class basketball championship that academic year. This photo is one of four on the page featuring all of the class basketball teams. The poem on page 269 gives information on the basketball season. The women all had bobbed hair and were wearing a traditional outfit of this time of sailor tops, scarves, bloomers, and long tights. Of the 38 women shown in senior class photos, 22 were involved in a class sport. The administrative head at the time was Kathleen Lowrie.
