The image above is of the Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta for women sixteen pictured. It was founded in 1875 in Wooster. The first photo of the fraternities in Index. Women appear gathered around a central figure in the photo. Four of these women are listed as playing on one of two fraternity tennis teams for women in the tennis section. The women were wearing dresses with hemlines to the ankles and with long sleeves. Bodices were shaped to hips on some. Sashes or belts at the waist on some. Hair is pinned up or back. Several have collars or necklaces.
